Mike Barilla
Michael ‘Mick’ Barilla was born (April 15th, 1963) and raised in St. Paul, Minnesota. It was apparent from an early age that Mick had a flare for the arts. What started as cartoons and doodles slowly progressed and matured into more complex drawings that captured moments from his favorite films, images of his favorite sports stars, and landscapes of places and time periods he longed to visit. Coming from humble beginnings, formal teachings of the arts didn’t present itself to him. Because of this, any real form of artistic training had to be placed on the back burner. It wasn’t until 2010 that Michael once again got the craving to put pen and paint to paper. His work over the last 11 years pulls inspiration from the landscape of America, manifest destiny, life in the west, and the beauty and grace of nature. Being a fan of American Romanticism, some of his favorite artists include John J. Waterhouse, J. S. Sargent, W. Homer and Thomas Cole. Although Michael prefers working in the medium of oils and acrylic, he also dabbles in watercolor and charcoal.
In present day, Michael is both a retired Battalion Chief for The Division of Fire & Rescue of Hampton, VA and paramedic for Children's Hospital of The King’s Daughters. He is a proud veteran of the armed forces as he served in the Navy. He is a loving husband to Linda, father to Dominic and Tony, and grandfather to Adriana and Kaiden.

Kati Brantley
My 20-year practice as a professional jeweler and designer has been a quirky journey of experimentation with form, technique, material and color. Working exclusively with recycled metals and ethically sourced gemstones, each piece is a whimsical, wearable, stand-alone miniature sculpture. In my view, jewelry is an expression of individuality and a celebration of personality, and I strive to create pieces that resonate with the sentiments and values of the wearer.
I create all of my jewelry by hand, without the aid of CAD or AI, using centuries-old metalsmithing techniques such as forging, wax carving and fabrication. The skill of crafting fine jewelry is a perfectly balanced blend of architecture, metallurgical science, sculpture, visual design and human anatomy.
Jewelry design is my absolute passion, and I am honored to share it with you.
