Where art is born in Virginia Beach
The Artists Gallery is operating as a cooperative, managed entirely by its artist tenants. Founded in 1989, we provide space for creating, exhibiting, and showcasing original fine art by local and regional artists.
At the gallery and in the artists' studios, you will find a wide selection of ceramics, sculpture, jewelry, paintings, signed and numbered prints, photographs, and many mixed media pieces displaying a wide variety of artistic styles.
The Artists Gallery is often described as an intimate, friendly place, where you are welcomed by the artists. Watch an artist create a beautiful painting or add the final touches to pottery. If you don't see what you want, you can commission an artist to create a piece just for you.

rent studios and work on the premises.
Exhibiting Artist
rent wall space, or exhibit space, and volunteer one day of the month in the gallery.
Invitational Artist
though not formally part of the cooperative, local and regional artists participate in our monthly exhibitions.
Volunteer
give their time and service to help in our daily tasks and special events.
supporter
help us continue to bring the best in local fine art to our community through their monetary and in-kind contributions.
A formal jury process is required for all artist levels and invitational artists.
Annual exhibits are open to AG artists as well as local and regional invitational artists, such as our most popular exhibit, "Fabulous Forgeries," our tribute to the great Masters.
