Surf art and rock music art alike will enliven the walls of the THE ARTISTS GALLERY during the month of August, when a portion of all sales will be donated to the Surfers Healing Association and the Tidewater Autistic Society of America. Bright and bold artwork by nationally and regionally famed artists will be for sale and on exhibit August 8-30, 2008. Several artists will be donating special works to benefit TASA, so look for the specially marked pieces.

The art show is held in conjuction with the extraordinary Healing Surfers from Hawaii, who will be in town to surf with the kids, host the Surfers Healing 5K at the Beach, and a luau on the beach. After the luau, come to the Rock 'N Surf Art 2008 Artist's Reception, Saturday, August 16th, from 7-9pm, at the Artists Gallery. 10% of art sales will be donated to TASA. The reception will feature live music and free refreshments. The event is free, open to the public and a repeat of last year's popular, lively and highly successful celebration to benefit TASA and Surfers Healing.

The Rock 'N Surf Art show will be on view August 8-30, 2008. Come by, check it out, and support some good causes!

The Artists Gallery, in Virginia Beach, Virginia, is a working marketplace for visual artists, offering visitors the opportunity to experience artists creating, displaying and selling their original works of art. In addition to new works on display, the gallery sponsors group shows and individual exhibitions by members and invited guest artists.
