THE ARTISTS GALLERY, incorporated as a non-profit gallery, and completely artist-managed, showcases the works of over 50 local artists, and is a working marketplace for the arts.

The Cat's Meow
March 6 - 27, 2009Fundraiser for the Virginia Beach SPCA. Paintings, sculptures, ceramics, jewelry, all for our fuzzy, furry, four-legged friends who are need of our help to survive. Donation of a toy, blankets, tins of kitten food is appreciated. PEOPLES CHOICE AWARDS! Opening reception is March 6, 2009, from 6:00 - 8:30 pm. Cat Costumes, and makeup welcome. Free and open to the public with refreshments and parking.
Art In Bloom
April 3 - 25, 2009An exhibition of floral and garden paintings, drawings, photography, jewelry, carvings, and much more, celebrating Spring and all its glory to coincide with the Annual Garden Clubs Tour. Gala Opening on Friday 3, 2009, from 6:00 - 8:30 pm. $500.00 in Awards. Judged and Juried. Free and open to the public with refreshments and parking.
Tidewater Turners Membership Exhibition
May 8 - June 6, 2009An exhibition by the members of the local award winning wood turning artists group called "The Tidewater Turners." Rare woods will be on exhibition, along with hand blown glass and other mixed media. Wood turning demonstrations will be given on Saturdays, weather permitting, outside the gallery. Call for schedule. Opening reception on May 8 from 6:00 - 8:30 pm. Judged for awards. Free and open to the public with refreshments and parking.
Summerscapes
June 12 - August 1, 2009An exhibition and sale of local and regional paintings, sculpture, fabric art, encaustic, oils, watercolor, clay, jewelry by Artists Gallery members and invited artists. Works representing the fun and sun of our area. See artists inspiration for theme: on next. Open House on Saturday afternoons from 12:00 to 4:00 pm. Free and open to the public with refreshments and parking.

Rock 'N Surf
August 7 - September 5, 2009Annual tribute to the Surfers and Rock Music and an annual fundraiser for the Tidewater Autism Society of America. Vintage Rock Music Poster, auction of Surfing Art. Opening reception to coincide with TASA Luau and 5K run. Schedule: TBA. Free and Open to the public, refreshments, parking.
Twentieth Anniversary Gala Exhibition
September 12 - October 3, 2009Celebrating their 20th anniversary in fine art, the members of the Artists Gallery have invited past members to join them by hanging their current works in the gallery once more. A gala reception will be held at the Artists Gallery on Saturday, August 12, from 5:00 pm through 8:30 pm. Free and open to the public with refreshments and parking.
Two Voices
October 9 - 31, 2009All new watercolor paintings by Judy Witt and new metal sculture by Jack Witt. Award winning artists and authors of 4 books. Opening Reception on Friday, October 9, 2009, at the Artists Gallery from 6:00 pm to 8:30 pm. Free and open to the public with refreshments and parking.
Annual Holiday Boutique & Sale
November 6 - December 22, 2009Opens Friday, November 6, with a gala, champagne reception from 6:00 - 8:30 pm. Also, an Afternoon Open House on Saturday, November 7 from 1:00 - 4:00 pm. Free and open to the public with refreshments and parking.
The Artists Gallery will be closed Wednesday, Dec. 23 - Jan. 8. Reopening on Tuesday, Jan. 4, 2010.
The Fabulous Forgeries 2010
January 8 - February 2, 2010Grand opening reception of this annual tribute to the Great Masters is on Friday, January 8, 2010, from 6:00 - 8:30 pm. Awards ceremony is People's Choice. Come and cast your vote that night! Free and open to the public with refreshments and parking.
